My name is Eunsong Kim and I’m an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Northeastern University. This page is a souvenir of the writing & art projects that I’ve been involved with over the years.
Before teaching and living in Boston, I was an artist in residence in Chicago public schools for Hands on Stanzas at the Poetry Center and at Urban Gateways. My essays on literature, digital cultures, and art criticism have appeared and are forthcoming in: Scapegoat, Lateral, The New Inquiry, Model View Culture, AAWW’s The Margins, and in the book anthologies, Global Poetics, Critical Archival Studies, and Reading Modernism with Machines. My poetry has or will been published in: Denver Quarterly, Seattle Review, Feral Feminisms, Minnesota Review, Interim, Iowa Review, and Action Yes. I was the recipient of a 2015 Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant for the blog contemptorary.
Copy Paper: Ream 1, was published by Flying Object in 2015 as part of their pamphlet series, and my first book of poems was published by Noemi press in 2017.
